Our vines: 27 treasures

Four years ago Enrique and Elisa started rescuing small plots of Grenache from very old vineyards. In total Domaines Lupier consists on twenty-seven “parcelles” located in Atlantic climate, giving their Grenache finesse.

After many years’ experience in the wine sector and convinced that the making of a great wine takes place in the vineyard, Elisa and Enrique searched around and examined the terroirs in various areas until they found what they were looking for: black Garnacha old vines at different soils, orientations and altitudes – between 400 and 750 metres above sea level in north of Spain. In all, 27 treasures, some of planted since 1903, which made possible to obtain the “savage” expression of Grenache, expressing its specific terroir.
